Yoogane Singapore has closed its last outlet in Singapore at Westgate on 1 Nov 2020.
Probably the most popular chicken galbi restaurants in South Korea, Yoogane opened to much fanfare when it first arrived in Singapore but the business slowly died down over the years due to poor management by the local franchisee, Altitude Group Pte Ltd.
It is such a shame because we have always loved Yoogane’s highly-acclaimed chicken galbi and we will no longer get to eat it in Singapore.
In Yoogane Singapore’s Facebook announcement, they claimed that they will be back once they’ve found a suitable location.
However, according to our sources, it is highly unlikely that Yoogane Singapore will be making a comeback anytime soon, especially under the current management as they have owed many suppliers money and they have closed their other outlets at Bugis Junction, 313@somerset, nex and Tampines Mall over the past two years.
