Good recipe for red curry paste using ingredients available in a global pandemic?

Sorry if this has been answered before or is not appropriate for this sub.

I love red curry. But my local supermarkets (I'm in South Africa) haven't had red curry paste in months. I think imports from Thailand have been disrupted.

Are there any decent recipes that can give me a decent approximation that don't require any seriously specialist ingredients? I know that might sound really stupid, but I'm a bit desperate.
