There’s nothing like a good carol to get you in the mood for Christmas, especially when accompanied by crisp conditions, a mince pie and a winter warmer. Carols from King’s College in Cambridge set the mood in millions of living rooms around the world on Christmas Eve. But that can’t compare with hearing a lone chorister’s voice amplified in the chapel’s vaults. Or the 100 voices of the Bach choir ringing around Cadogan Hall.
