If you love fried food but are trying to watch your weight, an air fryer is a must-have appliance in your kitchen. Air-fried food is in general healthier than deep-fried food and is lower in fat, calories and potentially harmful compounds that you can usually find in fried food.
For those of you who own an air fryer, try this fast and delicious air-fried sweet potato fries recipe at home; these fries taste as good as the ones you can get in a cafe!
WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE YOUR AIR-FRIED SWEET POTATO FRIES:
- Air Fryer
- Sweet Potatoes
- Cooking Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Knife
- Peeler
- Chopping Board
STEP 1
Preheat air fryer to 200 degrees celsius.
STEP 2
Peel sweet potatoes.
STEP 3
Cut sweet potatoes into strips.
STEP 4
Add a little oil,
STEP 5
a dash of pepper
STEP 6
and a dash of salt to the sweet potatoes.
STEP 7
Give everything a good mix.
STEP 8
Grease your air fryer with a little oil.
STEP 9
Separate sweet potatoes into batches and put one batch into the air fryer.
STEP 10
Set the timer on your air fryer to 8 minutes and cook at 200 degrees celsius.
STEP 11
Remove sweet potato fries and cook the remaining batches of sweet potatoes.
Plate up your fries and there you go, air-fried sweet potato fries in 11 easy steps!
