Durian lovers, rejoice! Durian stall too far? Too late to go out? No durians allowed on public transport? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
Durian delivery services are starting to bloom this season. Whenever you’re craving for some durians, you can get them delivered right to your doorstep.
We’ve collated a list of 15 durian delivery services in Singapore so all you durian lovers can enjoy your durians without any fuss!
1. 99 Old Trees Durian
Apart from selling durians, 99 Old Trees Durian also sells durian pulp, and they even host tasting sessions and durian parties.
They charge only S$9.90 for islandwide delivery and it’s free-of-charge for orders above S$150. For same-day delivery, be sure to order before 5pm. Otherwise, your order will be delivered the following day.
With online durian delivery, consumers like you and I might have concerns about getting less than our money’s worth, i.e. getting “cheated”. 99 Old Trees Durian has come up with a solution to this problem—for utmost transparency, they will sell durians by the nett flesh weight, instead of selling the whole durian together with the husk. This means you won’t have to pay for the weight of inedible thorny husks!
While still in its early days, they’re also exploring technology like dynamic CCTVs and Facebook Live to document every step of their process, from durian arrival, to weighing, dehusking, packing, and finally delivery.
We durian lovers can just sit back and enjoy the King of Fruits in the comfort of our homes!
99 Old Trees Durian: 46 Owen Road, #01-277, Singapore 210046 | Tel: +65 9822 2495 | Opening Hours: 12pm – 10pm (Daily) | Facebook | Website
2. GrabDurian
Besides their GrabCar services, now you can even get durian delivery from Grab! GrabDurian is back for another year so that you can get the delicious King of Fruits delivered right to your doorstep.
Grab delivers islandwide, except for Changi, Sentosa, Lim Chu Kang, Pandan Gardens, and Mandai. All the durians are Mao Shan Wang durians from Sagik in Tangkak Johor, Malaysia.
Each GrabDurian box comes with 400g of freshly deshelled durian (that’s at least one whole durian’s worth of flesh), vacuum-packed and ready to be eaten. If you’re saving it for later, remember to pop it in the fridge to keep it fresh!
