Bad news, McDonald’s Singapore has just announced that they will not be reopening on May 5 like many of us hoped they would.
In a recent Instagram post, they mentioned that they have been allowed to restart operations from May 4 under the essential services framework. However, they’ve decided to extend their closure for a little longer for the safety and well-being of their employees and customers.
They also mentioned that they will continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation in the community a little bit longer before they make the decision on when to reopen their stalls.
While we are saddened by the news, we feel like it is a responsible step forward by them and we hope to be able to get our hands on our McSpicy’s soon.
