Bengali Style Dhokar Dalna Recipe (Spiced Lentil Cakes in Tomato Gravy Recipe) is traditional recipe of Dalna which is made from a blend of channa dal and urad dal. Dals are spiced and then blended into a smooth batter. It is then steamed like “Dhoklas” and pan fried. These Steamed and pan fried cakes are then immersed in a thin tomato gravy. The dish is famous among the vegetarian in Bengal and it is considered as pure Satvik as there is no Garlic added to it.
