As their lease is up for renewal in July, and given the current pandemic and economic environment, the owners felt it is time to end this chapter.
However, they do intend to slowly re-focus and find a new home.
At Plentyfull, food items are made from scratch whenever possible, preservative-free and sourced from farmers and artisans locally and internationally.
Their applauded items such as Avocado Toast with Haloumi Cheese & Marinated Tomato – complete with thick and creamy mash; Plentyfull’s Granola Bowl with house granola, poached fruits, fresh fruits, buttermilk yoghurt topped with honey comb.
The Brunch Plate included with scrambled, house-smoked bacon, Kurobuta pork sausage, plum tomatoes, charred broccoli and sourdough bread is also well-loved.
In terms of their All-Day Dining food, the Evan’s Chicken Salad is said to be the favourite of the owner’s husband, thus the name “Evan”.
Said to be inspired by his favourite Chinese foods from Los Angeles, this massive plate includes iceberg lettuce, crispy chicken strips (like “Bang Bang Chicken”), crispy glass noodles, and interesting topping of wonton skin chips, all tossed in a mustard soy vinaigrette.
A popular main is the Borrowdale Pork Chop cooked using Australian free-range pork rack with potato puree, red pepper confit, fennel salad and maple jus.
The decadent brunch item, Plentyfull’s Crème Brûlée French Toast combines fluffy thick slices of Brioche bread with a slight-crusty outer layer after being torched, with sweet and creamy custard oozing out.
Contains seasonal fruits and fresh cream. Do order it first as it requires at least 15 to 20 minutes’ preparation time.

For fans of the concept, their sister outlet Plentyfull Bakery & Deli at Great World is still in operations.
This has more casual, sunnier vibe and a different menu.
Other than fresh baked breads and cakes, bright salads, hearty hot mains like the Westside braised meatballs, customers can look forward to a Bubur Ayam dish first launched at this outlet.
