Shake Shack Singapore Opening 3rd Outlet At Orchard Road

Shake Shack Singapore is opening a third fine-casual Shack at Liat Towers.

This is the burger brand’s first outlet at Orchard Road, likely to open in the third quarter of 2020.

The other two outlets are at Jewel Changi Airport and Neil Road.

While they both used to attract extremely long lines, the crowd has diminished with shortened opening hours due to the on-going COVID-19 situation and safe distancing measures.

If you are wondering where Liat Towers is, the building is next to Wheelock Place and houses Zara and Hermes. Looks like it took over where another burger place OverEasy used to be.

Okay, not many of you may know that OverEasy has closed that branch late last year (OverEasy still has an outlet at One Fullerton, don’t worry.)

Also to note that this is the first Shake Shack in Singapore with alfresco seating, which can possibility offer Shake Shake fans more space for social distancing.

Shake Shack is a fast-casual restaurant known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, flat-top beef hotdogs, spun-fresh frozen custard, and crinkle cut fries.

It offerings include ShackBurger ($9.20 for single, $12.70 for double), SmokeShack ($10.90, $14.40), ‘Shroom Burger ($10.80), Shack Stack ($14.30), Hamburger ($7.50), and the newly introduced Chick’n Shack ($9.20).

Local artist Danielle Tay will be creating the indoor and outdoor murals for this third Shack.

For the outdoor mural, Danielle draws inspirations from the Swan Lake and Sundial Garden in Botanic Gardens, offering diners another view in Orchard Road.

While the press release states “Shake Shack Singapore continues to work with local purveyors and artists to create a fun and lively gathering place in the city with the third Shack”, this will remain a question mark due to the current situation. Hopefully things will be much better then.
