Tomato & Plum Sauce Chicken 梅酱茄汁鸡



Crispy chicken chunks coated with sweet & savoury sauce. This dish is very appetising and loved by both adults and kids.



Ingredients:  材料

200g Chicken Meat 鸡腿肉 200克, 切块

1 Tomato, cut into chunks 番茄 1 粒

2 cloves Garlic, sliced 蒜头 2 瓣,切片

1 Onion, cut into chunks 洋葱 1 粒,切块

6pcs Spring Onion (white part) 青葱 6 (白色部位)

1 tbsp Castor Sugar  细砂糖 1汤匙

Some Potato Starch 马铃薯粉 适量

Some Oil for cooking 油 适量

Marinade: 腌料

1/2 tsp Corn Flour 玉米粉/粟粉 1/2 小匙

1/2 tsp Garlic Salt/ Salt 蒜盐/ 盐 1/2 小匙

Dash of White Pepper 胡椒粉 少许

1/2 tsp Shao Xing Hua Tiao Wine 绍兴花雕酒 1/2 小匙

Sauce: 酱汁

2 tbsp Plum Sauce 酸梅酱 2汤匙

1 tbsp Ketchup 茄汁/蕃茄酱 1汤匙

1/2 tsp Soy Sauce 酱油 1/2小匙

Method: 
步骤

1. Mix marinade with chicken, let marinate for 30 minutes. 
腌料加入鸡肉,拌均后腌制30分钟。




2. Coat chicken with potato starch, shallow fry/ deep fry till golden and crisp, set aside.
鸡肉沾上马铃薯粉,炸至金黄色/ 熟透。




3. Pour away the oil, reserve about 1/2 tbsp in the pan. Add in garlic, onion and spring onion, stir fry till fragrant. Add in tomato and sugar, stir fry for a few seconds.
锅里留少许油,把蒜头,洋葱和葱爆香。加入番茄和糖,翻炒。









4. Add in sauce, bring to boil. Toss in chicken and serve right away.
